Jared Ocoma

Coach Ocoma started playing beach volleyball in 7th grade.  His senior year at Cheshire High School (Conn.) the Boys Club team started under Coach Cindy Hitchcock.  Coach Ocoma went on to play 5 years at Syracuse University as an Outside Hitter and held positions of Treasurer, Vice President, President, and Captain.  While at Syracuse the Orangemen won 3 EIVA Titles and 4 East Coast Championships.  Coach Ocoma has since returned to CHS as an assistant Coach for the boys (16 yrs) and girls (15yrs)  programs.  Coach Ocoma has also coached at CT Juniors (3yrs), Husky Volleyball (2yrs), Hardline Volleyball adult clinic ('11) and with 14's-18's High Performance at Dunes Operation Center ('12, Rolling Prairie, Indiana).

 

USA Volleyball Certified: IMPACT, CAP I, CAP II VCAP, BEACH IMPACT.  Members of: USA Volleyball, American Volleyball Coaches Association, AVP Next, New England Volleyball Association, Garden Empire Volleyball Association, East End Volleyball, Southern Connecticut Volleyball, Volley America.
